   El Gundam GUNDAM THE ORIGIN Ver. RX-78-02 de Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN está aquí con configuraciones de piezas que pueden recrear colores a través de un ensamblaje simple y en el último formato de la serie HG, lo que lo convierte en un artículo adecuado para dar inicio al 40 aniversario de GUNPLA. Las piezas se pueden elegir durante el ensamblaje para disfrutar de las características tanto del Early Type con un diseño asimétrico como del Mid Type simétrico. El Early Type se puede recrear colocando una ametralladora Gatling en su antebrazo izquierdo, una Shoulder Magnum en su cuerpo superior izquierdo y cañones Vulcan en su cuerpo superior derecho. The Early Type can be recreated by attaching a Gatling gun to its left forearm, a Shoulder Magnum to its left upper body, and Vulcan cannons to its right upper body. The left cover block can be assembled with the same parts as the right side to recreate the Mid Type. The calves have adopted articulated verniers and can be displayed with their covers open, and the toe parts can also be moved. The included weapons can be attached to the waist and shield joints.
